Behçet's syndrome.
no, look at the lung fields & the soft tissues!! I m giving u a clue...
looking at the masses i think may be a testicular tumour
but on the other hand left soft tissue mass looks like a breast and no breast on right right side,
may be a breastcancer metastasis following rt mastectomy
excellent these are secondaries and we look at absent breat shadow on the right side that is the clue for the primary!!!
thanx a lot Dr Sumer!!!!!!!
you are really enlightening us
thanks for the kind words versha!!! well this is a typical spot CXR asked in exams because it tests not only ur analysis of the skiagram but also ur observation skills.. key here was the absent breast shadow!!
TAKE HOME MESSAGE- IN A CXR PATHOLOGY MAY LIE OUTSIDE OF THE LUNG FIELDS MAKE IT A HABIT TO OBSERVE THEM.....
very nice info....pls dr. sumer, keep us posted about such images in future also...thanks and best of luck!!!
thanks a lot and best of luck to u too...i ll do my best to keep u posted on the latest in radiology...
Dr.Sumer, could u pls tell me how to look for the breast shadow?
look at the right lower chest there is no curvilinear breat shadow as on left side,,, also the right lower zone is more lucent or more black than the left side as overlying breast soft tissue is absent....
metastasis
