In the most critical cases, a doctor will order a middle-of-the-night diagnostic scan such as an MRI, which will likely tax the hospital's already overworked radiologists. Everyone else will be placed on waiting lists of up to three months or more to get the results of X-rays, MRIs or CT scans.But if Normand Laberge has his way, such test results could be obtained in as little as 30 minutes, practically obliterating current wait times and dramatically improving the quality of Canada's health-care system. There's only one problem: for his plan to work, radiological tests from Canada would have to be sent to physicians in other countries, including the United States, Australia, Switzerland and India."
