Chiari I malformation-MRI

There is evidence of tonsillar herniation below the level of foramen magnum with obliterated cisterna magna, which is consistent with Chiari I malformation. There is minimal cranial migration of the odontoid process and minimal increase in the altanto-axial distance. Odontoid process shows mild posterior inclination mildly impinging on the thecal sac.
