Partially thrombosed aneurysm versus thrombosed false lumen


Sometimes it is difficult to differentitate thrombosed false lumen from partially thrombosed aortic aneurysm as in this case. In this case the clue is peripherally placed intimal calcification which may suggest more likely possibility of partially thrombosed aneurysm.
