Quality Control in Radiology Department
In this issue of Radiographics, Lane F. Donnelly and co-authors have discussed a method for departments quality control. They have created a scorecard that is presented quarterly to the institutional leadership and is available to all radiology employees on the institutional intranet. The scorecard currently has 33 measures in six areas: clinical services (safety, quality, timeliness); education; research; professionalism, communication, and user satisfaction; finances and administration; and staffing.
Seems like all our departments in India desperately need something like this to ensure quality control in terms of all parameters mentioned.
