ACL Tear-Plain Film Signs
The Segond fracture, avulsion fracture of the anterior tibial spine, impacted lateral femoral condyle fracture, and fracture of the posterior lateral tibial plateau are radiographic signs often associated with ACL injury. It is important to recognize the significance of these subtle abnormalities and if found, MRI should be done to identify the presence and the extent of ACL injury.
