Team from the Houston Methodist Research Institute says they have developed artificial intelligence software capable of analyzing mammograms for breast cancer with 99 percent accuracy. This looks a landmark for use of artificial intelligence in Radiology.

That is a very misleading report. They did text mining of radiology reports of lesions reported as BIRADS 5 and deducted cancer subtypes from that. There was no interpretation of mammograms by AI involved at all.
