Arachnoid Cyst: Incidentally Discovered on MRI
This is MRI of 10 year old child with trauma and incidentally detected Arachnoid cyst in the middle cranial fossa. Arachnoid cysts are relatively common benign lesion. They are usually located within the subarachnoid space and contain CSF. Finidings are well circumscribed cyst, with an imperceptible wall, displacing adjacent structures, and following the CSF signal on MRI imaging in the left middle cranial fossa. There is no significant enhancement on post Gd sequences.
