Broca's Aphasia & Stroke
MRI in this patient with acute stroke shows infarction involving superior division of Left Middle cerebral artery. As this is an infarct in the left hemisphere, associated expressive aphasia was present. FLAIR MRI sequence is shown to you and shows infarct with hyperintense signal in the distribution of superior division of left MCA.
